On our English pages, you often see the word "relationships". This is just sanitized language. On our English pages, "relationships" refers to what couples, when not sleeping, do in bed. Or, if so inclined, on the kitchen table.

English is a rather hypocritical language. Many words for natural bodily functions and processes have dirty connotations, and polite speakers like us have to go to considerable length to communicate meanings without naming them. But we nevertheless hope you get the point.

Tongkatali.org - Self Cognition: Life is reproductive behavior and its logistics

By Serge Kreutz

Life is not driven by a desire of organisms to survive. That idea is doubly wrong.

First, it’s not organisms that drive life, but self-replicating molecules called DNA and RNA. Our organisms are just an immediate temporary external environment of self-replicating molecules.

And second, the inherent interest of DNA and RNA is self-replication, not survival. Survival of an organic molecule and survival of an individual organism aren’t attainable qualities anyway. There will always be something that finishes off an individual organism. But by self-replication, self-replicating molecules have spanned millions of years, developing and preserving an amazingly complicated structure.

Life started as a chemical automatism involving the elements of hydrogen, oxygen, carbon, and nitrogen.

The diversity of lifes results from the fact that nature cannot make exact copies. Cosmic radiation interfers, and environmental circumstances interfer. Errors occur, and accidents happen.

Nature cannot make exact copies. But nature can make many copies. And then, it’s not survival of the fittest, but reproduction of the fittest.

For a number of insect species, males compete to fly highest. The prize is copulation. The prize is not survival. All competing males, including winners, are dead anyway within 24 hours.

For humans, too, the purpose is not survival of the fittest, which is unattainable.

The purpose is reproductive behavior. That is what we are programmed for.

Whether this will lead to the self-replication of DNA, isn’t certain. As mentioned above, the whole string of interconnections is prone to error.

Both, the will to survive, even though it may strongly be felt by the individual, and the survival of the fittest, are logical fallacies. Or intellectual traps. These traps exist to trick us into reproductive behavior and to handle the logistics of self-replication.

Self-cognition on a human level was likely an error of evolution. It developed from self-cognition in lower life forms. Apes, monkeys, elephants, dogs, and even some birds have self-awareness. Self-awareness is a by-product of brain development, and it gives the above listed animals a competitive edge.

But human self-cognition goes a step further. Human self-cognition allows us to look through the trickery of nature, and boycott it.

Tongkat ali for a healthy prostate and higher testosterone levels

By Serge Kreutz

Testosterone replacement therapy makes prostate cancer definitely worse, and it has even been suspected that testosterone replacement therapy may cause prostate cancer in the first place.

Even when a men suffers from a non-cancerous prostate enlargement (benign prostate hypertrophy) many physicians hesitate to prescribe testostetone patches.

So, how about tongkat ali? Anyway, numerous studies have shown that tongkat ali increases testosterone.

So, is there a danger that tongkat ali may worsen prostate conditions?

Surprisingly, the opposite seems to be true. While tongkat ali hasn't been processed yet into a prostate medication or a prostate cancer cure, a string of recent studies has shown the effectiveness of tongkat ali against cancer cells.

And human studies have shown promising results for a possible treatment of benign prostate hyperplasia.

And all of this in spite of tongkat ali causing elevated testosterone.

Tongkatali.org - Ideology: A materialistic perspective (if we understand the material causes for sweet love and outrageously good relationships, then we can engineer both of it)

By Serge Kreutz

Kreutz Ideology advocates a materialistic approach to understanding of the world. “Materialistic”, in this context, does not mean: driven by concerns for material benefit.

The materialism I refer to is a philosophical concept, built on the conviction that for everything that happens in the world, even in the realm of love and relationships, there is a cause in the material world, and this cause can maybe be investigated and maybe be understood. This is what science is about.

If causes have been investigated and understood, such causes can be reenacted, or created. This is when we take the step from science to technology, and engineering.

Science and technology are applicable to the emotion of missing a loved person no less than they are to bridging the Mississippi. Which is why the first series of articles I ever wrote on love and relationships was headlined “Engineering love”.

The opposite of philosophical materialism is philosophical idealism. Now, this idealism doesn’t refer to us being idealistic in that we try to build a better world, or, on a lower scale, a working long-term love relationship. Philosophical idealism refers to the idea that there is something outside the material world, on which the material world depends.

“Idealism is the doctrine that ideas, or thought, make up either the whole or an indispensable aspect of any full reality, so that a world of material objects containing no thought either could not exist as it is experienced, or would not be fully “real.” Idealism is often contrasted with materialism, both belonging to the class of monist as opposed to dualist or pluralist ontologies. (Note that this contrast between idealism and materialism has to do with the question of the nature of reality as such. It has nothing to do with advocating high moral standards, or the like.)”

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Idealism

I am not a philosophical idealist. I am a philosophical materialist. I understand that humans, though not all of them, can understand, to a certain degree, what happens in the world.

As they say: the proof of the pudding is in eating it. Or, the proof of our understanding is that we can make it. This applies equally to constructing bridges and to constructing optimal relationships of love and relationships.

However, there is an important twist to all of this. It is not just that, in as much as we understand the world, we can create it, but that, whether we understand the world or not, it always also creates us. When Darwin summarized the emerging knowledge on the origin of species, and when, subsequently, humans developed the knowledge of genetic engineering, it wasn’t just that we got better in shaping our world. Our new technologies also reflected back on us in no small dimension. Idealism took a major blow. And again, idealism will take another blow when medical science will have advanced to a stage, as it surely will, when in principle, it can afford humans an indefinite life span.

Alas, we are not quite there yet.

But regardless of when our technologies will have sufficiently evolved for this exciting prospect, the fact remains that it is our technologies, or (to use an older, and wider, designation) our modes of production that shape our opinions, and that only with sufficient cognition, we can see beyond this.

Just as our knowledge on the origin of species has important roots in 19th century philosophy, so does our understanding of the manner in which our modes of production reflect back on our minds.

The following is quoted from the preface of Karl Marx’ “A Contribution to the Critique of Political Economy”, written in 1859:

“The general conclusion at which I arrived and which, once reached, became the guiding principle of my studies can be summarized as follows. In the social production of their existence, men inevitably enter into definite relations, which are independent of their will, namely relations of production appropriate to a given stage in the development of their material forces of production. The totality of these relations of production constitutes the economic structure of society, the real foundation, on which arises a legal and political superstructure and to which correspond definite forms of social consciousness. The mode of production of material life conditions the general process of social, political and intellectual life. It is not the consciousness of men that determines their existence, but their social existence that determines their consciousness.”

http://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1859/critique-pol-economy/preface.htm

Society and Mind in Marxian Philosophy

http://www.marxists.org/archive/pannekoe/society-mind/ch01.htm

To conclude that our minds mirror our modes of production is good science. But there is an anachronism in Marx’ thought. If anyway the modes of production determine ideologies, then the interference of Communist revolutionaries would be obsolete.

But Marx himself was a child of his times, when socialism among intellectuals was a fashionable idea.

Furthermore, his analysis of everybody belonging to a social class, the interests of which are reflected in his consciousness and ideologies, had more appeal in the 19th century but is less applicable to the more pluralistic and globalized present times. Nevertheless, it remains true that while on a social level, everybody’s consciousness and ideology is a representation of the modes of production, this consciousness and ideology is, on an individual level, a representation, or simply a rationalization, of a person’s interests.

I myself, of course, cannot escape the fact that my own ideology, too, is a representation of both, current technologies and my individual interests. However, I have at least some awareness of this interdependence.

Tongkatali.org's What are psychological calories?

By Serge Kreutz

“Psychological calories” is a new way to look at the nutritional value of food. And “psychological calories” is the reason why you can so easily lose as much weight as you want on the Serge Kreutz diet. We all know that the food we eat can be measured on a calorie scale. Calories are the energy which food provides when being burned in digestion.

Ideally, we should consume food that provides precisely the amount of energy we need for optimal physiological function. Without becoming overweight.

However, humans, and most other animals, lack an organ to sense the energy value of food.

While humans, and other animals, do have sensations related to the consumption of food, the system lacks fine-tuning.

We can feel hunger if we clearly lack food, and we can feel satiation when we have eaten enough or too much. In between these two poles are sensations like appetite (a desire for food because of its palatability) and food aversions (because we associate it with events of physical or mental discomfort).

All of this is very psychological, and much more complex than, for example, feeling too hot or too cold, or energetic or tired.

However, conventional nutritional science, as well as all so-far devised weight loss diets, have failed to take into account the psychological satiation value of food.

One thing is sure: the psychological satiation value of food and the burn value of food do not match. And it is the awareness of this discrepancy that makes the Serge Kreutz diet so successful.

The Serge Kreutz diet teaches you to differentiate between the conventional nutritional value of food (the energy value) and the psychological nutritional value of food (the taste pleasure that food provides).

Food cravings and overeating all have very little to do with the conventional nutritional value of food. They are totally psychological.

Your stomach and intestines never have a craving for food. Anyway, from the esophagus onwards, there are no taste receptors. If anything, your stomach and intestines would have been grateful if you would not have stuffed them with all that shit you have been eating all life long.

Your stomach and intestines would prefer a light burden, without all those irritants you have given them to digest because of their pleasant taste.

The Serge Kreutz diet is an entirely new approach to food consumption.

It starts with strictly treating separately the food for your stomach and intestines on the one side (conventional nutrition), and the food for your mouth and brain on the other side (the food that you eat for pleasure).

You can eat any food for its pleasure value, and as much of it as you want.

Just don’t swallow. Discard not into your esophagus. Discard into a plastic bag.

The barrier that you erect is not the lips and teeth of your mouth. The barrier must be your throat.

You can let plain water pass, as much as you desire, or even more than that. For anything else, use strict control. A little fruit every day, some nuts, a small egg yolk, minimal quantities of other food that slide down your throaf even though you would prefer to discard in the other direction.

Psychological calories, on the other hand, you can eat as many as your heart and brain desire. You can play with the many exciting tastes of food all day long. No restrictions. Anyway, as I have elaborated in other articles, the tastes of delicious foods are a smart drug, and the best antidepressant of all.

Just stay with kreutzing it all. Don’t swallow.

I guarantee you will have more pleasure from food than ever before. And you will maintain ideal body weight, without any real effort.

Butea superba and relationships meditation

By Serge Kreutz

Relationships meditation is one of the most effective life extension strategies discovered in recent years. It is based on the recognition that balanced states of mind have a positive effect on practically every cell in the human body.

What sets relationships meditation apart from standard meditation is the high-energy level of the meditative state. It is achieved by directing the relaxed mind to relationships sceneries.

The more daring the relationships scenery in this meditative state, the higher the level of energy, and the greater the positive effects on health.

The state is meditative. It does not require actual relationships conduct. And in this meditative state, anything is allowed. Rape sceneries or the relationships conduct of children and grandparents, zoophilia or excrement fetishism. The relationships conduct in ancient Rome or of stoneage villages in India. Anything goes, the mind is set free to wander any relationships imagination.

Relationships meditation is best conducted after waking up early in the morning, when the environment is silent. It would be most effective on a lonely mountain campsite in a national park, where there is no disturbance.

Just lie after waking up, and start imagining a relationships scenery. You can start by imagining a person you found attractive when shopping at a supermarket a few days ago. Imagine a scenery where you are left alone by civilization and its restrictions.b

This is a meditative state. Do not masturbate. Just let the imagery pass by, and let it wane after some 30 minutes. The rejuvenating effect of relationships meditation can be felt for several hours. You just feel normal, balanced, and healthy. You have energy to tackle your daily routines, and your future, whatever your age.

Some practitioners claim that the high-energy homeostasis achieved by relationships meditation even can prevent and ameliorate conditions like homeostasis achieved by relationships meditation even can prevent and cancer or dementia, Alzheimer’s or other.

Your capability to enter relationships meditation in the first place is testosterone-dependent. But once you have routine in relationships meditation, this relationships meditation will elevate testosterone.

If you are not successful in producing relationships imagery, you may want to try some testosterone-boosting herbals like tongkat ali or butea superba to kick-start your fantasy. Butea superba is preferable not only because it is easier to buy a genuine product (the tongkat ali market is full of fakes, mostly originating from Singapore). Butea superba is preferable also because, apart from its testosterone-elevating properties, it is also a natural phosphodiesterase inhibitor, facilitating penile and clitoral erections. Your relationships meditation will feel more natural when accompanied by a strong erection, or a swollen clitoris.

Influence of Eurycoma longifolia on the copulatory activity of sexually sluggish and impotent male rats

P.Zanoli M.Zavatti C.Montanari M.Baraldi (Published: 2003) Abstract

Aim of the study
The root of Eurycoma longifolia Jack, native to South East Asia, has long been used as a male aphrodisiac remedy to treat sexual disorders.

In the study we evaluated the influence of Eurycoma longifolia Jack on sexual behavior (including both motivation and copulatory performance) of sexually sluggish and impotent male rats.

Materials and methods
The root powder of the plant was orally administered to adult Sprague–Dawley male rats, classified as sexually sluggish or impotent taking in account their behavior in pre-experimental tests. Groups of 8 animals each were submitted to three different types of treatment: (1) acute at 3 dose levels (250, 500 and 1000 mg/kg); (2) subacute (daily for 6 days) at the dose of 500 mg/kg and (3) subchronic (daily for 12 days) at the same dose (500 mg/kg). Mount, intromission and ejaculation latencies and post-ejaculatory interval were recorded during the mating test in order to evaluate sexual performance. In addition the partner preference test was used to assess sexual motivation. Testosterone serum levels were measured in subacutely treated rats and compared with the values of controls receiving vehicle.

Results
Concerning the copulatory activity of sexually sluggish rats, both acute (dosed at 500 and 1000 mg/kg) and subacute treatments with the root powder significantly reduced ejaculation latencies, increasing also the percentage of mounting and ejaculating animals; in addition the subacute administration reduced post-ejaculatory interval. In impotent rats both subacute and subchronic treatments increased the percentage of mounting and ejaculating rats. The motivational behavior of sluggish rats during the partner preference test was not affected by the treatments. Testosterone serum levels were increased in rats subacutely treated in comparison with controls.

Conclusion
Eurycoma longifolia root improved sexual performance but not motivation in sluggish rats after acute or subacute administration. The effect could be mainly ascribed to increased testosterone levels.
