On our English pages, you often see the word "relationships". This is just sanitized language. On our English pages, "relationships" refers to what couples, when not sleeping, do in bed. Or, if so inclined, on the kitchen table.

English is a rather hypocritical language. Many words for natural bodily functions and processes have dirty connotations, and polite speakers like us have to go to considerable length to communicate meanings without naming them. But we nevertheless hope you get the point.

I exist because some self-replicating chemical has designed and created me as an instrument for the sole purpose of improving its success rate for self-replication.

The self-replicating chemical is nucleic acid (which comes along in two representations, DNA and RNA).

Because the purpose of my existence is self-replication (of my genes, not of me myself), it logically follows that my central organ system is the reproductive system (and not the brain, or central nervous system).

All other physiological systems are but mere adjacent structures to the reproductive system. We need a skeletal-muscular system to be able to move towards reproductive success, and to withdraw from anything that endangers reproductive success.

We need a digestive system to supply the reproductive system, as well as adjacent structures such as the skeletal-muscular system with energy.

And the reproductive system has designed a central nervous system to evaluate behaviors that are conducive or non-conducive to reproductive success.

The central nervous system is wrongly classified as a single unit.

Certain structures of the central nervous system, such as the cerebellum or large parts of the cerebrum, have only an auxiliary function: they facilitate reproductive behavior: the cerebellum allows an increased precision in movement, and the medulla is crucial for the regulation of heartbeat.

But while much of the central nervous system is auxiliary in function, it also incorporates elements that are more central, and more essential for the self-replication of nucleic acids: it provides reproductive motivation.

Without reproductive motivation, no auxiliary functions of the central nervous system would be needed, and, for that matter, no other organ system. There is no purpose for a skeletal-muscular system, or a digestive system, if there is no reproductive motivation.

Thus, I consider any organ structure as essential that provides the reproductive motivation for any organism.

In mammals, this essential structure probably is the limbic system of the brain, with the hypothalamus standing out. In a very direct way, the hypothalamus, may be considered a person’s most central organ (as did, by the way, Descartes).

A man who ingests a sufficient dosage of Pfizer’s Blue (100 mg) can have relationships with a woman he does not find attractive (probably even with a prostitute). He can have relationships with her, because has an erection (which doesn’t mean that he necessarily enjoys it). But there’s more to good relationships than is provided by a good erection. Foremost, a man wants to feel desire. Appropriate relationships desire is more valuable than easy erections.

In fact, one can have great relationships even with a weak erection. But one has to learn this. Most men, particularly when they are not yet in their 50’s or 60’s, sort-of panic when they are with a relationships partner, and an erection does not automatically happen (as it used to).

But while a proper erection is needed for standard penetrative relationships, an erection is not a requirement for a wholesome orgasm. For an orgasm, not even much of an ejaculation is fundamental.

Orgasms are an affair of relationships wiring. Not of relationships plumbing.

Physiologically, they are marked by a impulsive control of the sympathetic nervous system, while during arousal (and the erective state), the parasympathetic nervous system ruled.

Sympathetic nerve impulses, whether in context with an orgasm or determined by other events (alertness, nervousness, fear, panicking, or simply stress), are always anti-arousal and anti-erectile.

This is why men who are scared of not generating an automatic erection when with a woman, enter a vicious circle: they are concerned of not achieving a proper erection, which puts the sympathetic nervous system in command, and since the sympathetic nervous system is in command, they will be even less likely to have an erection. Then they panic, and now they could not achieve an erection even when on 200 mg of Pfizer’s Blue.

Yes, if they take the Pfizer’s Blue about an hour before being called to relationships, they will surely start out with a sufficient erection, which gives them self-confidence (which supports the parasympathetic nervous system), which will put them in a state where they will be capable of sustaining their erection.

Doesn’t that sound great? Unluckily no.

The reason for this analysis (which will surely sound strange to a great many readers): if you over-emphasize the parasympathetic nervous system, then your sympathetic nervous system will be dead, or at least disabled. Which means: your orgasmic capability will be decreased.

That is why yohimbine is miserable for orgasms. Yohimbine is an alpha adrenergic receptor blocker, peculiarly in the pelvic area. Alpha adrenergic receptors are a main entree for sympathetic tone in the abdomen. If one blocks pelvic alpha adrenergic receptors, one reduces any effect the sympathetic nervous system (directly or via the release of adrenaline) can exert in this part of the body. Not enough sympathetic impulse = weak orgasm.





Wise men prefer to go without the Pfizer’s Blue when with a girlfriend that has a good relationships drive. Without Pfizer’s Blue (but on butea superba plus kaempferia parviflora), erections may not be as fast as they are on Pfizer’s Blue. They may need some “manipulation” or “handling”. But one will enjoy relationships (and a great erection!) for a longer time when on butea superba plus kaempferia parviflora (in this way, men with a premature ejaculation problem will probably benefit from the combination, too), and have the strongest orgasms of their lives.

However, butea superba is not yet on the list of prohibited substances of the World Anti Doping Agency, WADA.

It's not that they wouldn't like to prohibit it. But they don't know how to test for it.

Butea superba affects the whole hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis. Thus, ratios of hormonal metabolites are not skewed as they would be with outright testosterone or anabolic steroids doping.

“Psychological calories” is a new way to look at the nutritional value of food. And “psychological calories” is the reason why you can so easily lose as much weight as you want on the Serge Kreutz diet. We all know that the food we eat can be measured on a calorie scale. Calories are the energy which food provides when being burned in digestion.

Ideally, we should consume food that provides precisely the amount of energy we need for optimal physiological function. Without becoming overweight.

However, humans, and most other animals, lack an organ to sense the energy value of food.

While humans, and other animals, do have sensations related to the consumption of food, the system lacks fine-tuning.

We can feel hunger if we clearly lack food, and we can feel satiation when we have eaten enough or too much. In between these two poles are sensations like appetite (a desire for food because of its palatability) and food aversions (because we associate it with events of physical or mental discomfort).

All of this is very psychological, and much more complex than, for example, feeling too hot or too cold, or energetic or tired.

However, conventional nutritional science, as well as all so-far devised weight loss diets, have failed to take into account the psychological satiation value of food.

One thing is sure: the psychological satiation value of food and the burn value of food do not match. And it is the awareness of this discrepancy that makes the Serge Kreutz diet so successful.

The Serge Kreutz diet teaches you to differentiate between the conventional nutritional value of food (the energy value) and the psychological nutritional value of food (the taste pleasure that food provides).

Food cravings and overeating all have very little to do with the conventional nutritional value of food. They are totally psychological.

Your stomach and intestines never have a craving for food. Anyway, from the esophagus onwards, there are no taste receptors. If anything, your stomach and intestines would have been grateful if you would not have stuffed them with all that shit you have been eating all life long.

Your stomach and intestines would prefer a light burden, without all those irritants you have given them to digest because of their pleasant taste.

The Serge Kreutz diet is an entirely new approach to food consumption.

It starts with strictly treating separately the food for your stomach and intestines on the one side (conventional nutrition), and the food for your mouth and brain on the other side (the food that you eat for pleasure).

You can eat any food for its pleasure value, and as much of it as you want.

Just don’t swallow. Discard not into your esophagus. Discard into a plastic bag.

The barrier that you erect is not the lips and teeth of your mouth. The barrier must be your throat.

You can let plain water pass, as much as you desire, or even more than that. For anything else, use strict control. A little fruit every day, some nuts, a small egg yolk, minimal quantities of other food that slide down your throaf even though you would prefer to discard in the other direction.

Psychological calories, on the other hand, you can eat as many as your heart and brain desire. You can play with the many exciting tastes of food all day long. No restrictions. Anyway, as I have elaborated in other articles, the tastes of delicious foods are a smart drug, and the best antidepressant of all.

Just stay with kreutzing it all. Don’t swallow.

I guarantee you will have more pleasure from food than ever before. And you will maintain ideal body weight, without any real effort.

Now having reached a considerable age myself, and taking all efforts to fight its ill effects, I can attest to the fact that age in itself is nothing. It’s not a disease, anyway.

What we have been thinking of as ageing in terms of decline is just the sum of individual ailments. Reduced muscular strength is an ailment. The decline of memory functions is an ailment. Decreased relationships appetite is an ailment. Age is not. We could be living 500 years or more, and at the age of 400 appear as youthful as 20-year-old specimens of the current legacy wetware. It’s really all just a matter of technology, of engineering.

My children, or my grandchildren, or my offspring in the third, or forth, or fifth generation, stand a good chance of reaching that age. However, one never knows. One is never too old to give it a try to live longer. Just do everything right in engineering for yourself, on the current level of technology, the best level of youth as is possible.

A good number of recipes to that end have been known for quite some time. Apart from that, new technologies are developed every day.

Of course, the great breakthrough will be in genetic engineering. We only experience a decline when having reached a certain age (lets say, the mid-thirties) because nature has genetically programmed us to do so. It wouldn’t have to be like this. We could just a well be genetically programmed to live for hundreds of years, such as some parrots and turtles, or for more than a thousand years, such as some trees and other plants.

Though, the breakthrough will be in genetic engineering, we shall not think of it, and will not experience it, as a singular victory over the aging process itself. Genetic engineering will provide a series of solutions for specific ailments. There will be a genetic engineering solution for Alzheimer’s and for diabetes, a genetic engineering solution for dysmenorrhea and erectile dysfunction, a genetic engineering solution for osteoporosis and one for obesity. The future is bright. We are almost there.

Until then, we have to rely on other technologies for engineering youth: pharmacology, prevention medicine, dietetics, surgery, exercise, commonsense.

Why commonsense A part of the decline of an individual life is the consequence of largely avoidable events. Accidents, for example.

A life span of 90 years is a realistic prognosis for anyone alive today, provided that person applies currently available technologies. We tend to think of technologies as something high-tech. While this is justified because it correspondents with common usage of the term technology, I willfully use the term technology for many a low-tech approach, just in order to save these simple techniques from being forgotten when youth engineering is discussed.

Such simple techniques include eating wisely, observing a regimen of daily exercise, not smoking and avoiding other pleasure poisons, good sleep.

All of these prescriptions go a long way, but of course they only go so far. You will need more. Cosmetic surgery, for example, to get rid of the visual signs of aging.

You will have to do something pharmacological to ensure that neurotransmitter levels and functionality will be at youthful levels. Fortunately, there is an ever increasing arsenal of pharmaceutical agents which are either dopaminergic or serotoninergic.

Not all pharmacological means of engineering youth (within limits) are new discoveries. A herbal medication (tongkat ali) that, for example, keeps testosterone levels in men at a youthful levels, has recently been rediscovered by modern science, though it has been around for thousands of years. The traditional equivalent for youthful female hormone levels, kacip fatima, is still in the research pipeline.



Eurycoma Longifolia as a potential adoptogen of male sexual health: a systematic review on clinical studies

Abstract

Eurycoma longifolia (EL) has been well recognized as a booster of male sexual health. Over the past few decades, numerous in vivo animal studies and human clinical trials have been conducted across the globe to explore the promising role of EL in managing various male sexual disorders, which include erectile dysfunction, male infertility, low libido, and downregulated testosterone levels. The aim of the present review is to analyze and summarize the literature on human clinical trials which revealed the clinical significance and therapeutic feasibility of EL in improving male sexual health. This systematic review is focused on the following databases: Medline, Wiley Online Library, BioMed Central, Hindawi, Web of Knowledge, PubMed Central and Google Scholar, using search terms such as “Eurycoma longifolia”, “EL”, “Tongkat Ali”, “male sexual health”, “sexual infertility”, “erectile dysfunction”, “male libido”, and “testosterone levels”. Notably, only human clinical studies published between 2000 and 2014 were selected and thoroughly reviewed for relevant citations. Out of 150 articles, 11 met the inclusion criteria. The majority of articles included were randomized placebo-controlled trials, multiple cohort studies, or pilot trials. All these studies demonstrated considerable effects of EL on male sexual health disorders. Among them, 7 studies revealed remarkable association between the use of EL and the efficacy in the treatment of male sexual disorders, and remaining 4 studies failed to demonstrate sufficient effects on male sexual health. In summary, there is convincing evidence for the prominence of EL in improving the male sexual health. The review also substantiates the use of current methodology in the development of novel and more rationale natural herbal medicines for the management of male sexual disorders.

The aim of the present review is to analyze and summarize the literature on human clinical trials which revealed the clinical significance and therapeutic feasibility of the Eurycoma longifolia (EL) in improving male sexual health. The findings of human clinical studies revealed a promising efficacy of EL to treat erectile dysfunction in sexually sluggish males by improving penile erection, erectile hardness and sexual performance. The clinical significance of EL in male infertility was also evidenced by significantly improving semen volume, concentration of sperms, and proportion of sperms having normal morphology, sperm motility, sexual libido, and overall sexual satisfaction. The critical analysis of the literature assessed that sex boosting effects of EL are due to its testosterone levels enhancing effects in males.
